The Security Subcommittee of APEC 2017 has just held a meeting to check the security preparation work for APEC 2017. The event was presided over by Deputy Director of the General Directorate of Security Lieutenant General Duong Minh Hung.
Order and security preparation have been completed. Military, police and civil defense forces have been tasked with round-the-clock patrols at hotels and venues where the meeting is scheduled to take place to assure safety for participants. Apart from internal security cameras, there are closed-circuit surveillance camera systems at Cam Ranh Airport and APEC meeting's venues, reports Nguyen Viet Dinh, Vice-Director of Khanh Hoa Public Security.
Besides, cooperation mechanism has been basically fulfilled by Khanh Hoa fire-fighters, border guard force and Military Headquarters for fire control and prevention; security at sea, in the air and in major places.
