Nha Trang City People’s Committee and the Steering Board for Family Tasks have held a conference to commend 43 outstanding happy families in 2016 in response to the International Day of Happiness (March 20).

Nearly 200 representatives from 27 communes and wards reviewed the history and meaning of the International Day of Happiness and the family task 2016 and the direction for 2017.
In Nha Trang City, there are 443 sustainable family development clubs, 443 family violence prevention and control groups and 27 agencies in charge of providing counseling and support for family violence victims. In 2016, the city propagandized the laws on marriage and family; family violence prevention and control; reproductive health care and gender equality for over 5,000 people. In 2017, the city continues propagandizing family related laws, promoting family violence prevention and control; and integrating the task of building happy families with the campaign “All people join effort to build cultural life”, etc.
