Le Thanh Quang, Central Party Committee Member, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Secretary received Ping Kitnikone, Canadian Ambassador to Vietnam on March 13 on her visit to Khanh Hoa to learn about its socio-economics and discuss cooperation potentials between Khanh Hoa and Canada.

Le Thanh Quang introduced about socio-economic highlights in Khanh Hoa, especially in Nha Trang City, focusing on the tourism mainstay and expressed the hope for further cooperation between Vietnam and Canada and human resource and financial assistance from Canadian for local communities, including Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa.
Canada has shown much concern about climate change and food safety, Ping Kitnikone said and hoped that medium and small-sized enterprises in Khanh Hoa could access Canadian Climate Change Fund. She also reported that Canadian visitors to Khanh Hoa increased by 16% in 2016 and promised promoting Khanh Hoa destination to Canadian tourists.
