Water Resources Directorate has inspected water filter equipment and provided operation guidance for teachers at 40 nursery and primary schools in Khanh Hoa Province funded by the project on emergency aid against drought and saltwater intrusion in the Southern Central Region, central highlands and Mekong River Delta. The event took place at Cam Hai Tay Primary School, Cam Lam District on March 23.
Apart from modern water filter systems installed at 40 nursery and primary schools, 1,000 stainless steel water tanks,1,500l each, were donated to affected communities in Khanh Hoa Province.

The project is sponsored by United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) and Khanh Hoa has benefited from the aid worth nearly VND7 billion in total.
