Viettel Khanh Hoa held an opening ceremony for the Viettel 4G coverage in Khanh Hoa on April 18. Present at the event was Nguyen Dac Tai, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee.
Viettel has developed 468 4G-base transceiver stations (BTS), covering 8/8 districts and 110 communes in Khanh Hoa. Especially, Viettel Khanh Hoa network has covered remote areas such as Son Trung, Ba Cum Bac (Khanh Son District), Ninh Tay, Ninh Thuong (Ninh Hoa Town), and Van Thanh (Van Ninh District).
The average download speed of Viettel 4G ranges between 30 and 50Mbps, 7-10 times faster than the 3G. Viettel 4G is expected to bring users great conveniences and promote the application of information technology in health care, education, tourism and public administration, says Tran Dinh Tien, Director of Viettel Khanh Hoa. Speaking at the event, Nguyen Dac Tai says Viettel 4G coverage in Khanh Hoa has confirmed its leading position in technology as well as shown social responsibility, facilitating local users’ access to advanced technology.
