A mission of Khanh Hoa and the provinces of Lam Dong, Gia Lai, Dak Nong, Ben Tre, etc. paid a working visit to Southwest Cay on April 7. The mission was led by Nguyen Dac Tai, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee.

On this occasion, the mission gave gifts to officials, solders and residents on the island. Nguyen Dac Tai highly appreciated the contribution and achievements made by the officials, solders and residents and expressed the hope that they would continue their effort to fulfill assigned tasks.
At the meeting, the mission granted a certificate of merit by Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee to Southwest Cay for achievements in rescue 2016. Khanh Hoa Department of Health awarded a certificate of merit to Southwest Cay Medical Station for emergency service for rescuing fishermen. Khanh Hoa Department of Education & Training awarded Southwest Cay Primary School and two teachers named Le Van Manh and Le Xuan Quyet.
On the same day, a mission attended a thurification ceremony at the Martyr Memorial, and visited Southwest Cay Pagoda and local units.
