Ninh Phung Commune Women’s Association, Ninh Hoa Town has just held a ceremony to present Smoke-free Homes’ Club of Nghi Phung Village Women’s Association Branch.
The club with 70 members organizes meetings every month to raise awareness of the Tobacco Control Law and share knowledge related to building smoke-free homes.
The model is under the campaign for smoke-free homes launched by Vietnam Women’s Union Federation in order to promote women’s role in persuading family members to quit or reduce smoking to make their homes and community healthy and smoke-free.
