On April 26, Khanh Hoa Newspaper together with 18 Communist Party press agencies in the Central Region and Highland held a ceremony to hand a house over a poor resident Nguyen Hai and his wife named Le Thi Thao residing in Khanh Thanh Bac Village, Suoi Cat Commune, Cam Lam District, Khanh Hoa Province.

The event was within the framework of the 70th anniversary ceremony of Khanh Hoa Newspaper and the 7th Communist Party Press Workshop in the Central Region and Highland. The beneficiary used to live in a poor housing condition. Khanh Hoa Newspaper together with 18 Communist Party press agencies decided to donate a grant to construct a new house, 54 m2, for his family. The work began on March 3 and finished after 1 month of construction with a total cost of VND88 million.
At the handover ceremony, Khanh Hoa Newspaper and Suoi Cat Commune offered many household appliances to the family. The charity work has shown journalists’ social responsibility, leaving deep impression of the 7th Communist Party Press Workshop.
