On April 14, Nguyen Duy Bac, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee received a mission of Thailand Navy’s ships, namely H.T.M.S Chaophraya (FF4555), H.T.M.S Makutrajakuman (FF 443) and H.T.M.S Narathitwa (OPV 12) led by Commander-in-Chief Bundith Chandarodvong.

Nguyen Duy Bac introduced about socio-economic highlights in Khanh Hoa and acknowledged many Thai enterprises’ investment in Khanh Hoa and increasing Thai visitors to Khanh Hoa. He also confirmed the visit of the 3 naval ships would contribute to strengthening the military cooperation in general and naval cooperation in particular between Vietnam and Thailand.
 
Commander-in-Chief Bundith Chandarodvong thanked for the provincial leader's welcome and expressed the impression over beautiful and peaceful Nha Trang Bay together with friendly and hospitable people. The mission is scheduled to visit attractions in Khanh Hoa and then promote the destination of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa to Thai people. Reportedly, the 3 naval ships carrying 755 crew are on a friendly visit to Vietnam on April 14-18.
