On May 2, Khanh Hoa Buddhism Social Charity together with monks and nuns offered 172 gifts worth VND200,000 each to Nha Trang City Association Branch for the Blind, a charitable class at Kim Son Pagoda (Vinh Luong Commune) and orphans residing at Loc Tho Pagoda (Vinh Ngoc Commune, Nha Trang City) on the occasion of the Buddha's 2,561st birthday.
Besides, Khanh Hoa Buddhism Social Charity in association with the 5 Buddhism Social Charities of Cam Ranh City, Cam Lam District, Van Ninh District and Ninh Hoa Town offered 22 gifts to monks and nuns suffering from diseases and with contribution to the Buddhism; gave cataract surgery aid to 144 poor people in Dien Khanh District and Ninh Hoa Town; and provided grants for building houses for the poor.
