On May 15, Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue training Centre opened a maritime search and rescue training course for more than 50 staff from departments, agencies and communities nationwide.
The participants were provided knowledge about the operation of maritime search and rescue ships; maritime search and rescue techniques, information provision and cooperation, first aid, diving skills, anti-drowning and anti-fire techniques for boats in imminent danger, etc.
After the course, attendants are expected to be fully equipped with rescue techniques to fulfill their assigned tasks.
