On the occasion of 72nd anniversary of the victory over Nazism (May 9, 1945-2017), a thurification ceremony was held at the Vietnamese – Russian Friendship Memorial, Cam Ranh City on May 9 to commemorate Russian and Vietnamese veterans.

Present at the event were a representative of Russian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City; Khanh Hoa Union of Friendship Organizations; Vietnam and Russian Friendship Association in Khanh Hoa; Vietnamese - Russia Tropical Centre, Cam Ranh City People’s Committee, Russian enterprises and people living and working in Khanh Hoa.
The delegation laid wreaths and burnt incense in commemoration of Russian and Vietnamese heroes who had devoted their life to the regional peace and stability for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Vietnam.
