At the presents times, many people are so busy working that they have little time eating with their family members, children, parents and grandparents. Beyond health and nutrition, family meals provide a valuable opportunity for all people to spend time together, get closer and share fun and experience. Traditional cultural beauty is shown through family meals which feature the love, respect, understanding and care among grandparents, parents, couples and children, according to Le Van Hoa, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture & Sports.

To promote the Vietnamese Family Day and thus honor traditional Vietnamese family values, local authorities have organized activities in response to Vietnamese Family Day (June 28). Businesses have been encouraged to make contributions to constructions and programs for disadvantaged children; hold talks and workshops to honor outstanding families, share child care experience; and promote traditional family values and the role of the family in social evil control and prevention.

Family values are important to everyone and every family. Therefore, every family member needs to take care of each other to build a happy and prosperous family, gradually bringing the Vietnamese Family Day into reality.
