The Steering Board of the Nha Trang Smart City pilot project worked with Microsoft Vietnam on project proposals on July 20. Present at the event was Le Duc Vinh, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People’s Committee Chairman. Microsoft Vietnam presented smart city framework, solutions and sponsoring conditions of the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA).
Accordingly, under the project, Nha Trang will be built to become a smart city where local residents take the lead in production and enjoy a quality of life in a dynamic and sustainable economy for future generations, vision by 2025.
To reach the results, from now to 2020, priority will be given to 6 main sectors such as IT human resource training and development; information security network measures, intellectual property issues, IT application in education, health care, transport, agriculture, e-commerce, industry, etc.
