Nha Trang University has held the International Workshop on Encapsulation Technology Applied in Food, Nutrition, Aquaculture & Breeding with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Education & Training, scientists from the Academy of Science & Technology, 15 universities, research institutes and enterprises at home and abroad.
The workshop topics were Encapsulation of bioactive compounds for use as functional food for human and fish; Encapsulation of active compounds for application in post-harvest, food processing; Encapsulation of cells, enzyme and vaccine for use in aquaculture chains; Bioactive/ natural compounds applied in food, nutrition, aquaculture and human care products, etc.
The event included reports and discussion about encapsulation technology applied in the main field of pharmacy and many other sectors such as printing, materials, painting and so on.
