Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council attended a new school year opening ceremony at Hoang Hoa Tham High School, Dien Khanh District on September 5.
In the 2016-2017 school year, Hoang Hoa Tham High School gained remarkable achievements in teaching and learning. 4 students won prizes in the National Excellent Student Contest, the Scientific & Technical Contest and Defense Tournament; and 15 won prizes in the Provincial Excellent Student Contest. 13 high grade achievers in the National High School Graduation Exam were awarded by Khanh Hoa People’s Committee and the Department of Education & Training. Many students won prizes in the Computing Contest, IOE, Violympic, etc.
4 teachers received certificates of merit by the Provincial People’s Committee; 19 won the title “Outstanding emulator” at grassroots level. The school received the title “Excellent labor collective” by Khanh Hoa People’s Committee and a certificate of merit for outstanding achievements in 2017. In the 2017-2018 academic year, the school has 1,960 students.
On this occasion, Nguyen Tan Tuan offered the school 10 computer sets and presented 10 scholarships worth VND2 million each to needy students. Former students donated 20 scholarships worth VND1 million each to good students. The school awarded top grade-achievers in the National High School Graduation Exam and the admission to the grade 10.
