Tran Son Hai, Permanent Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa People’s Committee had a working session with the government of Altalya City, Turkey on September 7 on the working trip to Russia and Turkey. Also present at the event was Nguyen Trong Kim, the first Secretary of Vietnamese Ambassador to Turkey. The two partners shared tourism development information and experience at the working session.
Altalya City and Nha Trang City have similar marine wellness tourism characteristics. Therefore, mutual support, promotion and cooperation are required, focusing on exchanging experience in international tourism promotion, management and high quality training support.
Antalya is a modern tourist beach city with more than 10 million international visitors a year, accounting for 50% of total international visitors to Turkey, earning an income of USD40 billion from tourism practice and this is the main stay of the city.

Since 2013, the governments of Altalya City and Nha Trang City have promoted the twinning between the two cities. Based on the approval by the Prime Minister, Khanh Hoa Province has issued a document on the draft memorandum of the cooperation relation between Altalya City and Nha Trang City.
