Dao Cong Thien, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee received Craig Chittick, Ambassador of Malaysia to Vietnam on October 2.
Dao Cong Thien introduced the provincial economic potentials and on behalf of provincial leaders, he suggested Malaysia would provide support for the construction of high-etch industries, aquaculture and seafood processing; clean water supply projects in the 2 districts of Khanh Son and Khanh Vinh; faciliate overseas study in Australia, provide a link between Malaysia investors and Khanh Hoa; cooperate for tourism development, etc.
Australian Ambassador highly appreciated economic potentials in Khanh Hoa, especially in such fields as tourism, education and training. Craig Chittick said he would meet an Australian community in Khanh Hoa and visit Nha Trang University and the Institute of Oceanography.
