Cam Lam District Study Promotion Association, Khanh Hoa held a ceremony on October 23 to award scholarships to needy pupils and the 1st and 2nd winners of the Provincial Excellent Student Contest 2016 – 2017 for junior high schools.
Accordingly, 10 pupils of Son Tan Primary School received 10 scholarships worth VND1 million each, including cash and gifts funded by Viettel Group. Cam Lam District Study Promotion Association awarded 5 winners of the Provincial Excellent Student Contest. 3 first-prize winners received awards worth VND1 million each and 2 second-prize winners got awards worth VND500,000 each.
Reportedly, since the beginning of the year, Cam Lam District Study Promotion Association has provided 70 scholarships totaling VND62.5 million for needy students.
