Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Confederation in association with Lao Dong Newspaper's Golden Heart Fund and Nestle Vietnam Company has just donated 1,000 cardboard boxes of La Vie mineral water and Milo milk to typhoon-hit residents in Ninh Hoa Town and Van Ninh District.
Specifically, 250 cardboard boxes of La Vie mineral water were given to residents in the 7 communes of Ninh Quang, Ninh Xuan, Ninh Thuong, Ninh Than, Ninh Binh, Ninh Phung and Ninh Trung; and 250 cardboard boxes of Milo milk to 34 nursery schools. 500 cardboard boxes of mineral water and milk were offered to 500 employees suffering from work interruption due to damages caused by Typhoon Damrey to their enterprises.
Earlier, Lao Dong Newspaper's Golden Heart Fund and Nestle Vietnam Company had donated VND1 billion aid to residents in the 3 hardest-hit provinces of Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen and Binh Dinh. In Khanh Hoa alone, the VND250 million aid included 3,300m2 of corrugated iron roof sheets for 83 houses.
