Nha Trang City Forest Protection Unit released an individual of Python reticulatus, 17kg, into Hon Ba Natural Reserve on November 14.
Reportedly, the individual, swept way in floods in Cai River, Nha Trang City days after the typhoon, was found and caught by a resident. Then, another resident named Tran Xuan Phuong, Vinh Diem Trung Urban Area, Nha Trang City bought it and gave it to Nha Trang City Forest Protection Unit to help protect and return it to nature.
 Python reticulatus is given to the local authority for preservation.
