On November 13, at Cam Ranh International Airport, the governments of Khanh Hoa and Phu Yen and local authorities allocated 40 tons of relief goods delivered from Russia to Vietnam in support of Damrey typhoon victims.


Accordingly, Khanh Hoa Province received 7 large tents, 9.8 of sugar, 7,434 boxes of milks, 12,600 cans of beef, 6,048 of cans of fish, 54,880 boxes of food for kids. The relief goods were transported by Khanh Hoa Border Defense Headquarters to be distributed to communities in need. The rest will go to Phu Yen Province.


Earlier, Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations’ aircraft Il-76, carrying 40 tons of typhoon Damrey relief goods, containing 14 tons of sugar, 5 tons of milk, 6.7 tons of canned pork, 2.79 tons of canned fish, 10.304 tons of canned beef and more than 1 ton of large tents, had landed on Cam Ranh International Airport, Khanh Hoa Province.
