A delegation of Chairwoman of the National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan paid a visit on December 16 to Khanh Hoa Province. Joining the delegation were National Assembly Secretary General Nguyen Hanh Phuc; Phan Van Giang, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; and Pham Hoai Nam, Commander of the Vietnam People's Navy. Present at the welcoming ceremony were Le Duc Vinh, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People’s Committee Chairman; Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Le Xuan Than, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa Province; Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council.
On behalf of provincial leaders, Le Duc Vinh reported the implementation of the socio-economic plan 2017 and Typhoon Damrey recovery efforts. On this occasion, National Assembly Secretary General Nguyen Hanh Phuc offered VND500 million donated by National Assembly Office staff in support of typhoon victims in Khanh Hoa.

Earlier, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan had paid a visit, expressed condolences and offered relief aid to heavily-affected families of Vietnamese Heroic mother Vo Thi Chung, Van Dang 2 Village, Vinh Luong Commune; and Dao Manh Hung, Dac Loc 2, Vinh Phuoc Commune, Nha Trang City.
At Dac Loc Industrial Zone, Nha Trang City, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan had visited heavily-damaged businesses, namely Thanh Khue Private Company and Khatoco Company Cigarette Material Warehouse.
