Vietnamese and Japanese scientists have just found a species of fauna named Mussaenda recurvata, Rubiaceae family, in Hon Ba Natural Reserve, Khanh Hoa Province according to Do Anh Thy, Director of the Management Board of Hon Ba Natural Reserve.
This is the joint effort in the research cooperation program between Vietnam Academy of Science & Technology’s Institute of Tropical Biology and Japanese Kyushu University’s Center for Asian Ecological Conservation.
This is the 4th new species of the Rubiaceae family and the 7th new species ever found in Hon Ba Natural Reserve since the beginning of the year.
