Nha Trang Engineering Technology College has organized a wide variety of practical activities for students. For 3 successive years, Nha Trang Engineering Technology College has taken the lead in the Students’ Association campaign in Khanh Hoa Province.
Nha Trang Engineering Technology College Students’ Association has organized various extracurricular activities to provide a sound playground for students to improve their knowledge and skills. Many competitions such as the Water rocket competition, which has been held twice, drawing the participation of mechanical and electrical students; and the annual “Ring the Golden Bell” Competition have been held to inspire students to show and promote their technological and technical talents. Besides, other competitions include Computing Olympics; Marxism Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Ideology science Olympics, etc. The competitions have promoted the scientific research among students. Since 2015, 5 grassroots-level scientific studies have been done by students major in biotechnology and electricity and electronics, according to Nguyen Van Quyet, Chairman of Nha Trang Engineering Technology College Students’ Association.
Le Ngoc Tien, an electricity and electronics student says, “Joining many activities held by the Students’ Association, my passion for scientific research has been inspired. During my internship, I still take part in the school research on direct current power supply and direct current power application for motor braking. We have received much support from the association.”
Apart from programs launched by Vietnam Students’ Association, the College Students’ Association has also held many other activities almost every month, contributing to strengthening Students’ Association campaigns. Since 2015, the college has had 4 individuals and 2 groups awarded the title “Five-Virtue Students” at provincial level. Specially, 1 individual has been proposed to be rewarded at national level, says Nguyen Van Quyet.

Particularly, the college has organized many contests on flashmob dance, dancing, flower arrangement, cooking, etc for schoolgirls. “Thanks to the activities, I become more aware of our important role in school activities and feel more motivated to join other activities and study better,” says Nguyen Thi Trinh Nu, a fresher of food processing, course 10. She has just been awarded the title “Five-Virtue Student” for her enthusiasm in school activities and good study results.
“Nha Trang Engineering Technology College Students’ Association’s activities have proved practical as they meet students’ interest and needs, motivating many students to participate in. In addition, the college has also provided effective support for knowledge competitions and the exchange of learning experience. We also have ideas about other competitions in the future to further promote technical research and talent discovery among students,” adds Nguyen Van Quyet.
Nha Trang Engineering Technology College has taken the lead in the Students’ Association campaign in Khanh Hoa Province for 3 successive years. Besides scientific research activities for students, Nha Trang Engineering Technology College has had many practical charity models, including fresh vegetable gardens, drip irrigation systems, study corners, etc for disadvantaged communities in Khanh Hoa, says Truong Tan Hung, Vice-Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Students’ Association Youth Union.
