VND1b relief donated to typhoon-hit communities

Tuoi Tre Newspaper in association with Khanh Hoa Youth Union donated typhoon relief to affected communities.

 

The two units gave 200 scholarships to family heavily hit by the typhoon, a VND50 house reconstruction grant, house repair grants worth VND10 million each, offered 15 cows worth VND15 million each; offered 300 gifts, containing necessities and school things to students in local residents in Van Ninh District and Ninh Hoa Town. The gifts were funded by AA Corporation based in Ho Chi Minh City. 

 

In addition, 31 families losing relatives in the typhoon were offered VND155 million relief financed by Hung Thinh Corporation.

 

The activity was worth VND1 billion in total.
