Kyle Nunas, Canadian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City together with the Consulate members worked with Khanh Hoa General Hospital on February 26. At the working session, they exchanged medical examination and treatment; equipment, infrastructures as well as specialties available at Khanh Hoa General Hospital, cooperation approach, etc.
Besides, Canadian Consul General discussed medical check-up and treatment given to Canadian patients in particular and foreigners in general at Khanh Hoa General Hospital; contact with the embassy when foreign patients are hospitalized; hospital fee payment method; hospital transfer support when required by patients. Reportedly, this is considered as a preparation for the Embassy of Canada to ensure healthcare for the Canadian working, traveling and living in Vietnam.
In 2017, Khanh Hoa General Hospital gave examination and treatment to 9 Canadian patients, most of whom were hospitalized due to respiratory and digestive problems; traffic accidents, etc.
