After 3 years of construction, Cao Ba Quat- Cau Lung Road is scheduled to open to traffic on February 10, facilitating traffic and leading to development prospects in western Nha Trang City.

Cao Ba Quat- Cau Lung project is ready with the final stage of street signs installment, road surface marking, etc for the opening day. Nguyen Hoai Thu, residing in Dien Khanh Town says, “I’m working in Nha Trang City. The traffic is heavy, especially during rush hours. Sometimes, it takes me nearly 1 hour to travel home from work, just about 10km on 23-10 Street due to traffic jam. Cao Ba Quat- Cau Lung will help shorten my travel time.”

Le Thanh Truc, Vice-Director of Khanh Hoa Agriculture and Rural Development Investment and Construction Project Management Board says under the project, 315 homes are provided resettlement in Phuoc Hai, Vinh Hiep, Vinh Trung, Dien An and Dien Toan. The total cost of the site clearance is VND190 billion. The project with competent contractors has received much assent from the local residents. Challenges of the project include the stabilization of soft soil ground and the unfavorable weather with lengthened rainy days in late 2017. The project has completed thanks to joint effort.

The road will be put into use on the occasion of the lunar New Year holiday, helping to facilitate travel and reduce traffic load on the 23-10 street, leading to development prospects in western Nha Trang City.

Cao Ba Quat - Cau Lung road has a length of nearly 10km with a total capital of over VND1,400 billion coming from the Government bonds, period 2014-2020. The road has 2 sections: from the beginning to Quan Truong River bridge abutments: more than 1km long, 14.5m wide, 4m sidewalks; and from Quan Truong River bridge to the end of the road, 13.75m wide with 7m sidewalks and 18.5m land reserve.
