Ly Tu Trong Nursery School held 2018 New Year buffet party for kids and their moms on February 1.
The party included 15 dishes such as seafood soup, quail eggs on sticks, butter fried chicken, fried rice, chips; split pea and ham soup served with bread; 5 kinds of fruits, 4 kinds of cookies, 3 kinds of beverage, 2 dishes for desert (sweet potato and corn). The kids were taught to get in line to choose and take food.
The event aimed to help the kids to lean more about Vietnamese cuisine, table etiquette, motivate children's self-help skills and boost their confidence in everyday communication. The event was also in preparation for the contest “building learner-centered educational environment in nursery schools. Ly Tu Trong Nursery School was chosen to take the provincial contest this March.
