The 2018 tree–planting campaign in memory of Uncle Ho was launched on the Nha Trang Beach 4, Vinh Tho Ward, Nha Trang City on February 21. Present at the event were Le Thanh Quang, Central Party Committee Member, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Secretary; Tran Ngoc Thanh, Member of Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; and leaders of Nha Trang City Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front in Nha Trang City.
At the launching ceremony, Le Thanh Quang together with the representatives joined hands in planting 82 Flamboyant and Thespesia populnea trees along Pham Van Dong Street. This is the 2nd time Nha Trang City has held the tree–planting campaign in memory of Uncle Ho.
