Khanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee in partnership with Phu Khanh Petrol Company has held a handover ceremony for 40 houses for the needy in Ninh Hoa Town Commune.
The beneficiaries were among 140 families receiving housing assistance totaling over VND7 billion to rebuild their houses completely destroyed by Typhoon Damrey. VND50 million was provided for each family.
Reportedly, housing grants will be given to rebuild 80 houses from 2017 to 2018, and then remaining 60 houses in 2019.
At the house handover ceremony, Khanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee offered 40 gifts worth VND500,000 each to families. Besides, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee mission gave New Year gifts to 10 poor families and 15 village elders in Khanh Vinh District.
