Khanh Hoa Youth Union opened the 18th Traditional Youth Camping Festival at 14/8 Stadium, Van Gia Town, Van Ninh District, Khanh Hoa Province on March 23. Present at the event was Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council. At the opening ceremony, 23 outstanding youths were commended.
The 2-day event included flash mob, masquerade, musical performance, sport, team games, tent pitching competition and so on with the participation of campers from 20 camps from districts, towns, city Youth Unions and Khanh Hoa Youth Union.

On this occasion, the organizing board offered 10 gifts worth VND1 million each to policy beneficiaries in Van Ninh District; Khanh Hoa Youth Union, Communist Youth Union of Khanh Hoa Provincial Businesses and Youth Union of Khanh Hoa Provincial agencies gave assistance totaling VND100 million to 3 rural lighting projects in the communes of Van Binh Commune, Van Phu and Van Khanh, Van Ninh District. Farmtech Vietnam Company donated 2 computers to 2 disadvantaged students in Van Ninh District.
