According to the joint consultancy agency named Truong Son and the consultancy 8, the highway is 29km long running through Dien Khanh District and Cam Lam District. The highway has 6 lanes with 4 lanes scheduled to be constructed in the first phase at a designed speed of 120km/ hour. The project includes a collector road, tunnel sewerage and a mountain tunnel.
