On March 12, NGO Fontana (Denmark) in association with Khanh Hoa Department of Health, Khanh Hoa Department of Labor, War Invalids & Social Affairs held a training course on working with families with substance use disorders and trauma-informed care.
40 medical staff from medical centers, clinics and hospitals in Khanh Hoa were provided knowledge related to families with substance use disorders, effects of substance use disorders and family response; medical staff’s intervention for families affected by substance use disorders; trauma-informed care; and integration of trauma-informed approach in general medical treatment.
The course is scheduled to last until March 20.
