United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has just cooperated with Khanh Hoa Red Cross to open a training workshop to build storm-proof housing in Xuan Son Commune, Van Ninh District.

The event is under the project “Provision of emergency shelter assistance to poor and near poor households affected by typhoon Damrey in central Vietnam” funded by the Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF).

More than affected 5,000 homes are under repair and over 27,000 affected people in the 5 provinces of Khanh Hoa, Binh Dinh, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Thua Thien Hue have been provided training housing safety.
