Khanh Hoa Department of Education & Training held a opening ceremony for the 2017-2018 English Language - Public Speaking Contest for high school students on April 4. 84 candidates from 8 Divisions of Education & Training and 28 high schools joined the event.
At the preliminary round, contestants had to pick out keywords from 4 paintings; watch video clips and then answer questions raised by the jury. 6 top graders from junior high school and 10 from senior high schools will proceed to the provincial round which covers chosen topics together with the jury’s questions.
The closing and award ceremony is scheduled to take place on April 6.
