Khanh Hoa Interdisciplinary Steering Board for Food Safety held a launching ceremony for the Action Month for Food Safety 2018 at Co.opmart Nha Trang on April 17.
The 2018 Action Month for Food Safety themed “Strengthening responsibility of food producers and traders” takes place on April 15 – May 15. The event aims to strengthen food safety education and propaganda; promote food safety inspection at food trading establishments, especially smalls-sized ones, in craft villages to minimize food poisoning, etc.
Enterprises signed pledges to comply with food safety regulations during their production, trade and processing. The ceremony was followed by propaganda cars running along main streets in Nha Trang City to raise public awareness of food safety.
