Phuoc Thien Herb Clinic in Civil Group 20, Truong Phuc, Vinh Phuoc Ward, Nha Trang City was founded in 1968 with the commitment to helping poor patients with free medical examination and medication.
 
Phuoc Thien Herb Clinic has received poor patients from many places such as Ninh Hoa, Van Ninh, Cam Ranh, etc. Nguyen Van Thuat, Ninh Thuy Ward, Ninh Hoa Town, says, “Accidentally, my friend introduced me the charity clinic. I come here to get medicines for my daughter who has burning sensation. The physician examined her very carefully. The check-up and medicines are free of charge. She feels better now after taking some doses of medicinal herbs. Now, we are here for some more medications.”

Many local people are willing to help dry, garble, store and prepare medicinal herbs. They are also the patients examined and prescribed free of charge. Therefore, in their spare time, they volunteer to come here to help the clinic with some of the work.
 
Phuc Thien Herb Clinic has 3 specialized rooms for acupuncture, ophthalmology and herbs. 5 physicians are in charge of giving check-up and prescriptions for 6 days a week. Founded in 1968, the clinic was committed to helping poor patients. Pham Tuong Huan, a general physician, Chief of the Phuoc Thien Herb Clinic has also done his charity work there for more than 20 years. Every month, the clinic receives 700 patient arrivals.
 
The clinic aims to help poor patients, but actually it is a place where anyone could go and receive the healthcare and medicines available for free. In return, many of them have brought some medicinal materials from their herbal gardens or their farms. Some patients have helped with some processes of drying herbal plants for preservation and transforming fresh and dried plants into herbal medicines.
 
Besides, some patients have donated some money to the purchase of medicinal materials. The support has also helped the operation of the clinic for dozens of years and helped to benefit more and more needy patients, according to General Physician Pham Tuong Huan, Chief of the Phuoc Thien Herb Clinic.
