Tuoi Tre Newspaper in association with Khanh Hoa Youth Union offered 30 breeder cows to disadvantaged farmers affected by natural disasters in Ninh Hoa Town, Van Ninh District and Khanh Vinh District on April 19.

Farmer Le Thanh Giang, Van Khanh Commune, Van Ninh District is so happy to receive a breeder cow. His family is so poor that he has to drop out of school to help his parents to earn a living. The aid will assist farmers in making a living as well as  expanding their family business. “I am so delighted. I am offered one cow by my relative and now I get another one. I will work hard to raise cows profitably to increase income,” he says.

Tran Ngoc Thuong, Binh Son Village, Ninh Tho Commune, Ninh Hoa Town says “We work for hire, struggling to make ends meet with an income of VND4 million/month. We can’t even afford a breeder cow.”
