Workers' Month 2018 launched

On April 27, Khanh Hoa Labor Confederation held a ceremony to launch the Workers’ Month 2018. Representatives from local departments and agencies and over 200 workers working for businesses in Suoi Dau Industrial Zone attended the event.

 

The Workers’ Month 2018 themed “Each trade union brings a benefit to trade unionists”, contributing to caring and protecting laborers’ legitimate rights and interests. The Trade Union at all levels will strive to improve care for workers by practical activities, such as choosing partners to develop social welfare programs for unionists, suggesting businesses for at least one activity to provide support for workers; following the guideline “Trade Union is present anywhere workers are in need”, etc.

 

 

 

On this occasion, Khanh Hoa Labor Confederation offered housing grants worth VND440 million to 10 workers in need and offered 20 gifts worth VND1 million each to workers suffering from occupational diseases and accidents.
