Nha Trang University held a workshop named "Our changing oceans" on May 10 with the participation of cadres, lecturers and students of the university.
The workshop focused on such climatic issues as marine pollution, oceans, climate change, the influence of carbon dioxide on the climate; response and adaptation to climate change. The event was in the framework of the visit and cooperation exchange trip of Margaret Leinen, US Department of State Science Envoy to Nha Trang University.
The mission had a working session with the university on a cooperation program on oceans and environment; listened to reports on activities, programs and projects of the university in the fields of ocean research, marine biodiversity preservation; initiatives and programs in need of cooperation with individuals and organizations for development .
