On May 21, the Pacific Partnership 2018 (PP18) experts in association with medical staff of the Khanh Hoa 01 hospital ship 561 of Vietnam People's Navy, Military Hospital 87 and Naval Hospital gave medical check-ups to patients in Khanh Hoa Province.
More than 50 patients were given treatment of dental and oral diseases, internal diseases and tumor surgery right on the hospital ship 561. Besides, physicians gave examination and diagnosis for joint surgery which is expected to be conducted on the United States Navy’s Pacific Partnership logistic ship (USNS) Mercy.
The cooperation program lasts until June 1. During the 10 days, physicians of the two countries are expected to give medical examination to some 500 patients.
