“I was born in Phu Quy Island District, Binh Thuan Province, so I have deep love for the sea and islands. I am so eager to join the talk as a great opportunity to show my affection and responsibility for the homeland sea and islands. Especially, the talk is an opportunity for me to improve my communication in English,” says Nguyen Thi Cam Tien, a student at Nha Trang National College of Pedagogy.

Reportedly, the Navy Academy frequently organizes talks in English to create a foreign language environment for students to learn, exchange experience and improve their communicative skills as well as raise young people’s awareness of the importance of English language skills in study, work and international integration.
This is a chance for students of the Navy Academy to meet and exchange knowledge and skills with students of other universities and colleges.

Today, foreign language proficiency is so important as it can pave the way to international integration and success. It also shows an even more important role for the task of fundamental and comprehensive education and training renovation and life skill development, contributing to protecting the sovereignty of the homeland sea and islands, according to Captain Tran Tien Dung, the Navy Academy.
