Life skills education is important at schools. A new curriculum includes creative experience and life skills education as an obligatory subject.

Over the past years, to provide and practice life skills, nursery schools in Khanh Hoa have organized a variety of classroom learning and extracurricular activities such as garden-based learning, playing folk games, rural market shopping activities, going on a picnic, etc which provide active, engaging, real-world experiences that have personal meaning for kids.

The teaching material on life skills practice continues to be used at primary schools with a wide variety of activities on national holidays and other special events. Moreover, clubs of marital arts, swimming, badminton, football, aerobics, etc have been founded. Kids have become very enthusiastic to join the activities.
