Pham Van Dong Beach Park work is underway and expected to be completed this October.
In late 2017, Nha Trang City People’s Committee assigned Nha Trang Management Board of Construction Projects to be the investor of Pham Van Dong Beach Park project, 6.000m2, which includes coastal walkway of terrazzo and mudstone walkway, vegetation, lawn, stone benches, lighting, nearly 420m fencing walls, etc.
Besides, the project also includes 5 parking lots by the beach for sea bathers and revelers and the entire sidewalk east of Pham Van Dong Street. The sidewalk, 8.800m2, will be paved and curbed with holes for planting trees.

According to Nha Trang Management Board of Construction Projects, the innovation of the Pham Van Dong Beach Park will add green space to the beach. Apart from the trees, physical exercise and sport facilities will be installed at the park. The project has a total investment of more than VND12 billion from the city budget for 2018 – 2019, including over VND9.4 billion for construction and the rest for facilities, project management, construction consultancy, contingency fund, etc.
The project is underway with paving the sidewalks from Nguyen Thi Ngoc Oanh Street towards the city center and building concrete fencing walls from the junction of Pham Van Dong Street and Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street. The project is 25% complete so far and the work on the pavement and the fencing walls alone is about 40%.
The contractor has mobilized enough labor and equipment to speed up the project progress. The project is expected to be finished and put into use soon this October, says the leader of Nha Trang Management Board of Construction Projects.
