Nha Trang Institute of Technology Research & Application in partnership with Nha Trang University and Pukyong National University, South Korea began an education program on support for research and development capacity of sustainable marine bioenergy in Vietnam on June 25 with the attendance of nearly 200 students, graduate students and lectures from institutes, colleges and universities in Khanh Hoa Province.
The program covers knowledge about chemical technology, biology and materials in the field of converting seaweed into biofuel products such as gas, ethanol, butanol and products of green chemistry. This advanced and complex technology has been recently applied only in South Korea.
Reportedly, the training course is taught by 22 leading lecturers from leading research institutes and universities in South Korea in 3 periods from now to August 2018 with the first period on June 25-26.
