On June 27, Nha Trang City Women’s Union held a meeting themed happy families with traditional craft on the occasion of the Vietnamese Family Day (June 28) with the participation of 27 families doing traditional craft in 27 communes and wards in Nha Trang City.
Traditional crafts preserved and promoted so far include weaving fishing nets, sedge mats; oriental medicine; carpentry; knitting, making rice paper, banh canh (a kind of Vietnamese rice noodles), fish source, etc.
All the participants reviewed the tradition of the Vietnamese Family Day, joined a musical exchange, shared experience in preserving the traditional crafts; watched a clip of 27 traditional crafts and so on.
