Moreover, preferential policies have been fulfilled in such fields as medical insurance, medical examination, education, taxation, residence loan grants for production expansion, etc. Every year, all public service staff, businesses and local residents are called to donate to the reciprocation funding. From 2012 to the end of 2017, more than VND24 billion was raised for the fund which has gone towards to rebuilding and repairing more than 700 houses for revolutionaries. In the first 6 months of 2018, VND6.6 billion was raised for the construction and repair of 189 houses for revolutionary contributors. Besides, Khanh Hoa has also completed the construction and repair of over 900 houses for revolutionaries thanks to the national funding.

33/974 Heroic Vietnamese Mothers still alive in Khanh Hoa Province are receiving lifelong care with VND800,000-1 million/month each. The mothers are regularly visited with wishes for long life and good health by public service staff and Youth Union members. The event has contributed to promoting the revolutionary tradition and educating younger generations about the national glorious history and contributions and sacrifices of martyrs, war invalids and veterans, according to Trinh Thi Hop, Deputy Chairperson of Khanh Hoa Department of Labor, War Invalids & Social Affairs.

The gratitude campaigns have expanded with practical activities such as care for martyrs and war invalids’ children in need; support for production, vocational training and job creation for revolutionary contributors and their children, etc.

Thanks to the good implementation of the preferential ordinance for revolutionaries together with the care of the whole society, 100% of revolutionaries' families in Khanh Hoa are living at or above the average living standard. In the time to come, the sector of Labor, War Invalids & Social Affairs will continue fulfilling the task on preferential policy payment; regularly coordinating with the local authorities at all levels, agencies and localities in propagating and mobilizing agencies, units, enterprises, organizations and individuals to join hands to help social welfare beneficiaries in need.
