The International Astronomy and Astrophysics Colloquium 2018 was held in Nha Trang City on July 25 by Vietnam National Space Center (VNSC) under Vietnam Academy of Science & Technology in association with the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT) and the International Training Centre in Astronomy under the auspices of UNESCO (ITCA).
More than 70 representatives, including experts, lecturers of Vietnam and other countries such as Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, India and Nepal are attending the colloquium which provides updated astronomy and astrophysics knowledge and skills with hands-on, practice and observation sessions. Participants also have opportunities to learn and practice with the VNSC planetarium and optical telescope at Nha Trang Observatory.
The colloquium is scheduled to end on July 27.
