"Joining merciful hands" charity program to be held September 28

The steering board of the campaign “Each organization and individual cares for one humanitarian address” has just issued a plan to hold a charity program named  “Noi vong tay nhan ai” (Joining merciful hands) 2018.

Le Van Hoa, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Red Cross, Deputy Head of the Steering Board says the charity program is to seek donations to support poor and disabled people; natural disaster victims, Agent Orange victims, etc; as well as honor businesses, organizations and individuals for their contribution to the Khanh Hoa charity fund. The event will be attended by provincial leaders, local agencies, departments and localities, organizations and businesses in Khanh Hoa Province.


The program will be held at Nha Trang Dream Show at 62 Thai Nguyen, Nha Trang City and televised live on Khanh Hoa Radio & Television (KTV) on September 28. All support is sent to the steering board of the campaign “Each organization and individual cares for one humanitarian address”, account No. 050091830776 at Sacombank Nha Trang.                                                                                                                                                                                                    
Based on the approved schedule, groups and individuals are required to fulfill their assigned tasks and take the initiative in responding to the campaign, initially focusing on propaganda to raise the charity fund and make sure the program held solemnly, effectively and effectively.


The program is presided by Khanh Hoa Red Cross (Standing Agency of the Steering Board) in cooperation with Khanh Hoa Party Committee Office to prepare the content of the program. KTV and Khanh Hoa Newspaper are to be active in propagating the event and Khanh Hoa Fatherland Front Committee is to review the donation sources, donate VND100 million to the charity fund and strike a balance as regulated.


Thanks to the joint effort of the steering board members and localities, after 1 year of operation, more than VND900 million aid has been donated. The sum will be directly given to 1,241 people in need. Khanh Hoa steering board has received more than VND500 million to help 500 people in need.


The program has attracted the participation of public service staff and workers in public agencies, organizations and businesses to join effort to help people in need. The aid promises to partly help improve the life of the disadvantaged.


The steering board members have made effort to mobilize and propagandize the purposes and meaning of the charity program in various forms at participating agencies, units and businesses; focus on conducting surveys and making lists of those in need. Khanh Hoa Red Cross and localities will pay home visits for eligibility assessment in order to meet the criteria of openness, transparency and integrity.
